In 2048, within the context of the Venice Biennale, this performance unfolds in a floating pavilion of the global south as Venice succumbs to the waters for political reasons. This submerged stage serves as a critical arena for artists amidst rising tides, sinking pavilions, and a submerged city, reshaping the narrative on cultural dominance.
In this performance/exhibition, three characters interact within the same body, fueled by futuristic narratives rooted in recent events, observing the centralization of power in postcolonial artistic dynamics. The project observes the instrumentalization of postcolonial art, shaping history, and proposing democratic re-education. It explores the complexities of representation, exposing how claims of diversity and democracy can suppress the inherent challenges of representation in a democratic context.
In the creative process, the artist interrogates the impact of postcolonial theory, envisioning "post-Decolonial art" as a mutation that challenges current art institutions in defining Southern art.
En 2048, au sein de la magie de la Biennale de Venise, cette performance se déploie dans un pavillon flottant du “sud global” alors que Venise s'incline devant les eaux pour des raisons politiques. Cette scène immergée devient une arène critique pour les artistes, évoluant au milieu des marées montantes, des pavillons déclinants, et d'une cité engloutie, redessinant le récit de la domination culturelle.
Dans cette performance/expo, trois entités fusionnent au sein d'un même corps, alimentées par des récits futuristes ancrés dans des événements récents. Elles observent la concentration du pouvoir dans la dynamique artistique postcoloniale, éclairant les arcanes du récit curatorial et mettant en lumière des aspects négligés de l'art global du Sud. Le projet scrute l'instrumentalisation de l'art postcolonial, forgeant l'histoire et proposant une rééducation démocratique. Il explore les méandres de la représentation, dévoilant comment les revendications de diversité et de démocratie peuvent étouffer les défis inhérents à la représentation dans un contexte démocratique.
Au cœur du processus créatif, l'artiste sonde l'impact de la théorie postcoloniale, envisageant l'avènement de l'« art post-décolonial » comme une mutation qui interpelle les institutions artistiques contemporaines dans leur définition de l'art du Sud. Cette exploration s'aventure à naviguer dans le paysage en constante évolution de l'expression artistique.
هذا المشروع هو الاول في سلسلة اعمال أدائية احاول فيها مع مجموعة فنانين تقييم مبدا الهيمنة الثقافية للمؤسسة الغربية في تعريفها لمصداقية الفن المعاصر في شمال افريقيا و الشرق الأوسط
هذا العرض هو محاولة تشكيكية للتخلص من الهيمنة من خلال تخيلات مستقبلية مستندة على احداث واقعية في ميدان الفن قد تخلق تبعيات جديدة في ضل عالم يعيش أزمة القوى المهيمنة
تجري الأحداث الدرامية المتخيلة لهذا الأداء في عام 2048 في البندقية خلال النسخة 72 من بينالي البندقية الشهير biennal de Venise
كما هو معتاد في بيانالي البندقية توجد أجنحة لكل دولة دات اهتمام بالهيمنة الفنية و تحاول الدول ان تعيد تعريف نفسها بصورة اكتر معاصرة و اكتر حداثة وأكثر نقدية لذاتها كمتال الجناحين الاسرائليي و الامريكي يحاول فيه الفنانون اعادة النضر في سياسات دولهم (مع الاسف تغيب اغلب دولة المنطقة العربية عن هاذا التجمع المهم)
في هاذا لسيناريو المتخيل سوف يرى جناح يجمع جميع الدول العربية ضوء النهار خلال النسخة سنة 2048 إلى جانب الأجنحة الدولية الكبرى ، يجمع الفنانين الأكثر تأثيراً فنياً في المنطقة ,يحاول الفنانون في هذا الجناح ابراز أخر التصورات الكونية للعالم الذي نعيش فيه.
لكن كما توقع علماء المناخ تبدأ مدينة البندقية في الغرق خلاله البينالي وتبدأ الأعمال الفنية في الطفو والأجنحة الدولية في الغرق يجد الفنانون انفسهم و أعمالهم فوق سطح الماء وتبدأ عملية النقدية للذات و للاعمال الفنية المبللة ذات القيمة العالية التي اصبح أنقاذها اكتر اهمية من انقاذ الاشخاص بين ممثلي الاورقة الدولية و يصبح موضوع التقييم الفني و الهيمنة الثقافية اكثر وضوحا و اقل سلاسة و تبدأ العديد من الاحدات التاريخية في ابراز نفسها.
يقدم هذا المشروع نظرة متقاطعة ونقدية حول الفن المعاصر في منطقة البحر الأبيض المتوسط العربية وينوي المشاركة في تجديد الرؤية لتغيرات المنطقة العربية ، ولكن أيضًا تجديد الرؤية حول ممارسات الفن المعاصر. على نطاق أوسع ، يتسائل هذا البحث في تأثيرات التداول الفني في جغرافية توسعية على إلتزامات المبدعين ، فضلاً عن شرعية تعريف "الفن العربي المعاصر" ، المرتبط بقضاياه السياسية و التفاعلات بين السياسة وسوق الفن. سوف يؤدي هذا البحث إلى ظهور عمل فني متعدد الأشكال ، وأداء فني ومعرفي يبسط فهم رموز الفن العربي المعاصر للتشكيك بشكل أفضل في مدى ملاءمة وشرعية تعريفاته.
